The SSD gets listed but just doesn't show in the Disk Utility (maybe because it's not formatted in the right way) so I used this command to initialise the SSD as JHFS+ volume. I then searched online and found out that you can use the terminal and see if the computer recognises the SSD by using the command: diskutil list Now the machine starts but when I try to install, neither the macOS installer app nor Disk Utility seem to recognise it. I changed the motherboard of a MacBook Air A1465 because the previous one was faulty and the Mac didn't even start. ![]()
